I use compact digital cameras and smartphones to photograph everyday life in Tokyo, as well as events and scenery around me.
Intrigued by the fact that cameras exist as commercial products manufactured by companies, and that photographic expression takes place within that system, I have recently been creating digital cameras using electronics, exploring ways to treat photography as a form of expression closer to that of an individual, just like other forms of creative expression.
