His abstract paintings, themed around "new landscapes" and depicting elements surrounding the body such as gravity and time with vertical brushstrokes, have attracted attention from an early stage, and he is active both domestically and internationally. On the other hand, he practices interdisciplinary research in aesthetics and engineering, exploring the roots of creativity through collaboration with "doppelgangers" created by artificial intelligence.
He has received numerous awards, including Art Olympia 2022, the Tokyo University of the Arts Art Festival Excellence Award, and Best Debutant of the Year. In 2023, he was selected for "Google Japan x Gen Z Artists" and held a live painting event with AI at Makuhari Messe for AI EXPO. In the same year, at the request of JR East, he created the large-scale work "Twelve Pillars of Landscapes," which is permanently installed inside JR Nagano Station. Subsequently, he has worked on projects such as the permanent mural "Ueno of the Melting Landscape" inside JR Ueno Station and the dedication of a large painting to Togo Shrine, and his permanent works around the world now number over 50. At Osaka Art & Design 2025, he was selected as the main artist for the Hankyu Hanshin Group and was in charge of art direction for the fashion floor of Hankyu Umeda Main Store. He developed permanent collaborative works with 12 brands, including Y's and Aquascutum. Furthermore, the installation "bank of xx," presented that same year, was selected for the Aichi International Art Festival 2025 (formerly the Aichi Triennale).
In recent years, he has held large-scale solo exhibitions at venues such as GINZA SIX, TODA BUILDING, Tokyo International Gallery, Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Taiwan, and department stores throughout Japan. He has also designed helmets for the Japanese ski cross team at the Milan-Cortina Winter Olympics, Super Formula and Super GT driver helmets, and visuals for Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra performances, as well as numerous collaborative works with Japanese sake brand Dassai and Starbucks.
He is also active in the media group "Artoon!" and in "Contrapunctus," a group he formed with millennium parade members Shuntaro Tsuneta and Shun Ishiwaka, and is developing pioneering artistic activities in various venues, including YouTube and Blue Note.
