Hasegawa's works, which offer a panoramic perspective on emotions, thoughts, the body, and the existence of life, reveal his unique stance derived from the Buddhist philosophy that forms the core of his work, prompting questions about life and death and the very existence of humanity. Having been strongly drawn to "light" both visually and ideologically since childhood, Hasegawa incorporates and expresses this formative experience in his art.
Selected as a member of the 5th class of the Kuma Foundation, he exhibited at "KUMA EXHIBITION 2022" and held his first solo exhibition "Yomogi to Comp" (√K Contemporary, Tokyo) in the same year.
