Born in Nagano Prefecture in 1978, he graduated from the Department of Comparative Art and Design at Tokyo Zokei University in 2004, and completed his research studies at the same university in 2005.

He materializes primordial landscapes, mental landscapes, and unconsciously seen virtual images by layering scratches and rust of various sizes on the surfaces of metal plates and industrial products. SHINaNOBOYa is an imaginary friend from his childhood, a sculpture he first made when he was three years old, and was discovered at his parents' house in 2018. Since then, it has become one of his indispensable motifs, and it was this doll that inspired him to remove the limitations of materials. In recent years, he has also produced introverted works that reflect and confine pictures on the screen. His production style, which focuses on existence, is not limited to painting but is expanded to a wide range of works such as sculpture and installation works.
