Born in Osaka Prefecture in 1997
2020 Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Oil Painting
My works explore the themes of the unconscious beauty hidden in the everyday and Identity of the individual in modern society. I want to capture on canvas the fleeting moments of silence glimpsed in the hustle and bustle of the city and the daily lives of people, the emotions and memories contained in those moments, and have the viewer feel their presence.
I create works that use cityscapes, familiar furniture, and friends as motifs, reconstructing them on canvas using photographs, videos, and my own visual information. Furthermore, by referencing classical Western techniques, I aim to express myself in a way that moves between different layers of time and space. At the same time, I hope that my works will serve as an opportunity to strongly recall the place, existence, and story of myself and the viewer.
