Born in Okayama Prefecture in 1980. He studied Bizen ware at the Bizen Pottery Center and then apprenticed under Kimura Sosei for seven years. In 2022, he built a semi-underground kiln in Honjo, Oku-cho, Setouchi City, and fired his first kiln. Since 2016, he has participated in the Sue ware restoration project. He creates contemporary Sue ware characterized by its bluish-gray color and sharp forms, and draws inspiration from the ancient ritual vessel "Takatsuki," developing ancient forms into modern works, such as the height of the foot and bold cuts.
