Born in Tokyo in 2000. Currently enrolled in the Painting Department of the Graduate School of Fine Arts at Tokyo University of the Arts.
Considering the optimal light, weather, and temperature for motifs with diverse backgrounds, the artist uses collage to combine them with landscapes and drawings from memory, expressing decisive one or two-second moments within the fluctuating range of time through oil painting. The starting point of the work lies in the sense that familiar images appear as something different due to slight differences in viewpoint or arrangement, and in an interest in the uncertainty of perception. By combining these elements, the artist attempts to create new landscapes that do not exist in reality, and to shake up how we see familiar things.
