Born in Ehime Prefecture in 1995.
Graduated from Musashino Art University, Department of Oil Painting, majoring in Oil Painting in 2019.
Danjo is a multidisciplinary artist who works in a wide range of media, including painting, sculpture, poetry, and social projects. In his series of "Paintings to Save the Planet," he uses beehives as his material to create works that explore the ancient relationship between bees and humanity. Through his expression of the intersection of nature, cosmic life, history, and spirituality, he explores the reconnection and healing of our lives and the environment.
Major solo exhibitions include "Still dreaming of Earth" (2024, Koichi Yamamura Gallery/Tokyo), "Rejuvenated" (2024, Public Record/Auckland, New Zealand), and "Regenerative" (2024, Yuvan Gallery/Tokyo).
He also works as a social entrepreneur, creating a place for cultural dialogue across regions and eras through an interdisciplinary approach, based in an art space that utilizes the samurai residence that is his roots. His publications include NHK, Nihon Keizai Shimbun, and The Japan Times.
