  • ART FAIR - MEET YOUR ARTISTS
Born in Hyogo in 1983, he currently lives in Osaka Prefecture. In 2013, he completed his graduate studies at Kyoto University of Art and Design (now Kyoto University of the Arts). His work is based on the theme of light and space, referencing the classical painting technique of "glazing," in which thinly dissolved paint is applied in multiple layers. His paintings, which are constructed using highly transparent mediums and have a fluidity due to the transparency effect, change color and shape slightly depending on the place and time of day the light hits them, encouraging us to reconsider the act of "seeing."

Major solo exhibitions include "Whole set of No.2 to 8" (G ALL ERY Rin / 2023) and "Pathway" (TEZUKAYAMA G ALL ERY / 2022). Major group exhibitions and art fairs include "Kessa - Proof of Painting IV" (TEZUKAYAMA G ALL ERY / 2023), "Sydney Contemporary 2023" (Carriageworks / 2023), "The Art of Imagination" (graf porch / 2023), "ART F AIR ASIA FUKUOKA 2022" (Fukuoka International Congress Center / 2022), "ART OSAKA 2022" (Osaka City Central Public Hall / 2022), "can (not) reach" (EUKA RYO TE / 2022), "Wada Naosuke & Ogawa Mariko: full-size room" (G ALL ERY Rin / 2021), and "The Analogical Mirrors" (Yamanaka suplex / 2020).
