Souya Handa

Artist and independent curator. Born in Hamamatsu, Hiroshima in 1994. Focuses on the relationship between technology and social ethics, and issues surrounding Asian and Japanese Identity. Graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts Graduate School of Fine Arts with a Master's degree in Interdisciplinary Art and Media Studies in 2019. Also graduated from the University of Tokyo Graduate School of Interdisciplinary Information Studies with a Master's degree in 2023. Selected as a 2024 New York Fellowship Grantee by the Asian Cultural Council.
