An artist based in Tokyo and Chiba.
By manipulating the conditions of the medium and the viewing environment itself, the artist attempts to generate an ambiguous state on screen where the boundary between subjectivity and objectivity blurs. Recent activities have centered on an approach that combines video recording and digital coordinate transformation to rewrite the spatiotemporal structure imprinted on images. Against the perception of time and space that has been presupposed by the institutions and conventions of visual media, the artist continues to practically explore alternative ways of understanding by combining the characteristics of the medium that mimics the temporal experience of video with intervention in its very structure.
Awards include an Honorary Mention at Prix Ars Electronica 2024 and a Jury Recommended Work in the Art Division of the 25th Japan Media Arts Festival. Recent exhibitions include "mission ∞ infinity | space + quantum + art" at the Museum of Contemporary Art Tokyo (2026), HOW Art Museum Shanghai (2025), and NTT ICC's "ICC Annual 2024." He also works as part of the artist collective "YOF."
