This series primarily consists of photographic works taken in Japan that have remained unpublished until now.
Throughout this series, Manbo Key intertwines his connections with Tokyo's local queer community with his own travel experiences in the city. He presents portraits of queer dancers shot on Tokyo rooftops, everyday scenes, and works taken on a rare day of heavy snowfall in Tokyo.
In particular, the scene of Shinjuku Ni-chome, a representative queer town in Tokyo and well-known to many tourists, covered in snow, is one of the most iconic works in this series.
This series presents a landscape where urban memories, personal travel experiences, and queer culture intersect, while also depicting connections with Tokyo's queer community and the resonance that arises specifically from that place.
