PROJECT ATAMI, which launched in Atami in 2021, aims to "rediscover the charm of Atami through art" and is based on two pillars: ATAMI ART RESIDENCE, a residency-based project, and ATAMI ART GRANT, a system to support artists.
"ATAMI ART GRANT 2024", an initiative aimed at supporting the creative activities of young artists, has invited 20 artists who can find the charm of the city of Atami from their own perspective and encounter it in the form of expression. Together with the 30 artists in residence invited, a total of 50 artists will present their work in an exhibition that will run for about one month starting on Saturday, November 2, 2024.
This year marks the fourth year and the theme is "Super -Beyond ATAMI-". We aim to go beyond various concepts, discover new value and meaning in Atami, and transcend the boundaries between real life and online, allowing more people to see various places in Atami than ever before.
