Pii

A solo project by Awesome City Club member PORIN.
In stark contrast to the urban Awesome City Club, Pii reminds us of our hometown in the countryside, yet expresses an irreplaceable time.
The sound is a mix of a desire to move forward and a feeling of sadness that cannot be put into words, giving it a somewhat nostalgic feel.
We sing pop songs that remind us of our own peaceful place, precious memories that we had almost forgotten, the remnants of Japan, and our spiritual hometown, and that serve as a stronghold for our hearts like a talisman.

Nice to meet you, I'm PORIN, also known as Pii.
I'm also excited to see what kind of new encounters I'll have at Meet Your Art Fes, a festival where various arts and cultures intersect.
And I'm very happy to be able to play Pii's music in the midst of all this.
This is Pii's first festival. I'm thinking of going with a minimalist set that will suit this space.
I'm looking forward to playing in Tennoz, Tokyo, where time passes slowly and romantically, while feeling the breeze of the canals.
Let's forget the daily hustle and bustle and have fun together!
