YU SORA

Born 1987 in Gyeonggi-do, South Korea. 2011 Graduated from Hongik University (Korea) majoring in Sculpture. In 2020, completed a master's degree in sculpture at the Graduate School of Fine Arts, Tokyo University of the Arts. He develops works using white cloth and black thread, such as two-dimensional embroidered works and three-dimensional installations. Participated in Koganecho Bazaar in 2013, won the Tokyo Midtown Award for Excellence in 2018, and participated in Roppongi Art Night in 2019. In 2020, the 68th Tokyo University of the Arts Graduation Works Exhibition Purchased Work/Mori Award. Received the 2022 sanwa company Art Award Grand Prix.
