Born in Kanagawa Prefecture in 1992. Active as a photographer and artist based in Tokyo and Shonan. His most famous work is the ``#smudge'' series, in which he uses image editing software to transform some of his own photographs into the strokes of a painting. He aims to expand photographic expression across media such as 3D, performance, CG, VR, NFT, and fashion, and explores the essence of photography through various printing techniques such as lenticular.
Major solo exhibitions include "EDGE" agnès b. galerie boutique, "THE PAST EXISTS" Mitsukoshi Contemporary Gallery, "Tokyo Débris" WAITINGROOM (Tokyo, 2022), "#smudge" ANB Tokyo (Tokyo, 2021), etc. Group exhibitions include “COMING OF AGE” Fondation Louis Vuitton (Paris, 2022) “Hello World: Toward the Post-Human Era” Art Tower Mito (Mito, 2018) “GIVE ME YESTERDAY” Prada Foundation Osservatorio (Italy) , 2016) etc.
In 2019, he collaborated with MARK Weston's Dunhill's Spring/Summer 2020 collection, and worked on Virgil Abloh's Louis Vuitton men's Fall/Winter 2019 campaign image. Major collections include the San Francisco Asian Art Museum (USA).
His photo books “Everything_1” (2016), “Everything_2” (2020), and “The Past Exists” (2022) have been published by Newfave. His recent publication is ``untitled sky'' (self-published, 2022).
