AYAKA and DAICHI MIURA's collaboration!
The two who were close for debut (AYAKA was debut in 2006 and DAICHI MIURA was solo debut in 2005). Although their genres are different, in each field, they are working at the first line and have respected their music ability one another. So, a dream collaboration with the talented vocals has come true.
The collaboration's title song is "Heart Up". Takeshi Kobayashi produced and arranged it.
"Heart Up" has been decided to be released as a single CD on 14 February in 2018.
Moreover, "Heart Up" is a song tied up with some big CM.
This winter, please look forward to "Heart Up" drawing people’s attention without doubt.
<AYAKA's comment>
As thoughts in the song title, "Heart Up", Heart means love experiencing sweetness and bitterness and Up means growing up as a person with love experience. I named the song "Heart Up" by the two combining
Men and women's separation crosses with overlapping emotions and they are wondering if there is a chance in the future to come together or each path will never come together and part away. With the thoughts in mind, it is a story of men and women walking strongly forward to their future.
I wrote it with mind to wish that love impact and forwardness being stronger and flying higher make the two's fates to be better shaped and come together.
A lot of emotions through love such as hurting, suffering and sadness, impatience of missing each other.. and various things make a person grow up.
I could express fully its world with wonderful arrangement by Takeshi Kobayashi which contains forwardness and painfulness and with DAICHI.
Vocal work which the two's voice falls on together as if emotions crossed is a point to listen to!
<DAICHI MIURA's comment>
As the title "Heart Up" says, this is the song beautifully and complexly expressing painfulness strength and warmth experienced throughout sadness, meeting people and various things to overcome.
When I listened to this demo music, I was touched by it. Simply, I love this song.
Since this is not a typical duet song that the first part is for man and the second is for woman, the two voices can be mixed up in either the first part or the second part.
The part where AYAKA's voice and mine are well mixed up is the climax. AYAKA’s and my singing lines differ slightly and the voices cross as if various thoughts crossed which is linked to chorus work or song structure.
I think such parts are the points to listen to.

This time, we performed a demonstration and a take of recording for two of them at the same time. Actually, they have the high level of singing skills and I thought simple arrangement would be better. So, HeartUp has become a simple but strong song.
The song "Thoughts in towns", made by AYAKA, has a live feeling in the song.
Anyway, it amazingly shows their way of life as a singer
